Manabu Suzuki joined our firm in April 2007, after working at an electric company for three years and then in a patent law firm for five years.
He is in charge of various domestic and foreign patent filings and prosecutions related to mechanical systems, medical equipment, mechatronics, controllers, civil engineering and construction engineering, and software. He also handles domestic and foreign design and trademark applications. His practice includes proposing multi-faceted approach to intellectual property protection for small- and medium-sized enterprises from the business perspective.
He is an active member of the Japan Patent Attorneys Association (e.g., Patent committee and Design committee), by participating in various activities including serving as a workshop instructor and contributing to the Journal of Patent issued by the Japan Patent Attorneys Association.
